our history
Meeting the needs of our aging community.
ACDMA was first registered as a charitable organisation on 1 September 1982.
The Aged Care facility forms part of a larger group servicing Sydney’s Indo-Chinese and wider community with services spanning childcare, a Chinese Language School and a community development centre.
Due to the continuing growth of the original incorporated association, the charity transitioned to a company limited by guarantee structure in mid-2017.
ACDMA Aged Care facility was purpose built in 1990. Due to continuing demand for residential aged care services, the facility has expanded from the original 30 beds housed in one building (Block A) to include two additional connected buildings (Blocks B and C), with plans well underway for an additional Block D to be completed by the end of 2022.
